Incepted in 2003, Collegepond is an online/offline-counseling career guidance, test preparation and admissions counseling outfit. Our primary goal is to guide you to success. Our strength lies in highlighting the most optimal path in achieving your career ambitions.
To date, Collegepond students have not only attended the most renowned schools, including Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, etc., but have created a presence in the corporate world. Many of our students are earning five digit salaries (i.e., in excess of over $100,000) within two years of graduation.
Career / Admission Guidance
Being successful depends on the decisions and approach one takes at every juncture, be it higher education or working life. Based on our experiences in the US environment and inputs received from students who made it on Wall Street, Silicon Valley, Entrepreneurs, and other chosen walks of life, we believe that prior to embarking for higher education, a clear, well thought-out strategy is required.
Collegpond’s forte lies in chalking out a 1-3-5 year action plan to help students achieve their career aspirations. The career and admission counseling begins with an understanding of an individual’s strengths, followed by an interactive and intensive process in determining which path to pursue.
Competitive Coaching
Standardized tests are the only quantitative indicator to measure an applicant's aptitude and abilities across the applicant pool. Performance on tests should be taken seriously. Collegepond has created a novel curriculum focused on helping students excel in GRE, GMAT, SAT, TOEFL and IELTS.
The curriculum has an individualistic focus helping students to "zero in" on key areas to improve so that the time is spent effectively and efficiently. The weekly office hours provides an avenue to receive additional 1-on-1 help while the Collegepond test series provides students continuous feedback of their progress. Collegepond offers 6 week courses, weekend crash courses and one-on-one training.
Visa Counseling
After all the anguish, mental stress and work to obtain an admission acceptance, it would be rather foolish not to prepare well for the student visa interview.
Collegepond boasts a 99.3% visa application acceptance rate. Our process begins with understanding the financial solvency and sources of funds and then accordingly working towards preparing the supporting documentation required for the visa interview. Besides documentation, Collegepond works with the students in preparing them through mock interviews.
