Collegepond is an online/offline-counseling career guidance, test preparation and admissions counseling outfit.  Our primary goal is to guide you to success. Our strength lies in highlighting the most optimal path in achieving your career ambitions. Merely just getting into the college of your dreams will not promise you success in your future endeavors. Your success depends on the decisions and approach you take at every juncture of your experience be it higher education or working life. Based on our experiences in the US environment and inputs received from students who made it on Wall Street, Silicon Valley, Entrepreneurs, and other chosen walks of life, we believe that prior to embarking for higher education, a clear, well thought-out strategy is required.

Spearheaded by Suraj Bajaj (Wharton '91 and Columbia Business School '98) and Jimeet Sanghavi (DJ Sanghvi '04 and Stony Brook '05), Collegepond boasts a 100% admission success rate to date. Under their guidance, Collegepond has been successful in helping students obtain admission to the nation's elite schools.

Test Preparation

Standardized tests are the only quantitative indicator to measure an applicant's aptitude and abilities across the applicant pool.  Performance on tests should be taken seriously.  Collegepond has created a novel curriculum focused on helping students excel in GRE, GMAT, SAT, TOEFL and IELTS.  The curriculum has a individualistic focus in that it helps students "zero in" on key areas to improve so that the time utilized on preparation is spent effectively and efficiently.  Classes are held in the Mumbai region throughout the year.

Online Counseling

This website has been designed through student feedback for the benefit of the student community at large.  Articles range on diverse topics and provide the student with maximum information on career options, financial aid, preparing for standardized tests, preparing an effective application and sailing through the visa process.  The forum component of the website is highly interactive and offers the student all the necessary information he or she requires.

Offline Counseling

Our strength lies in packaging your application so that you achieve your desired objectives. We determine the optimal way to highlight the applicant's strengths and address any weaknesses or "holes" in his or her academic background, work experience or extracurricular activities.

Collegepond adopts a unique three-tier approach to counseling.  The focus is:

• Assess student’s strengths and weaknesses through personal interview;
• Identify suitable programs and career options; and
