Cost

The cost of education in Singapore is considerably low as compared to other study abroad destinations like UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. The cost of higher studies in Singapore varies depending on the institute, course and durations of the course. The average amount could be from $2,000 to $12,000 on a monthly basis for students studying as postgraduate students.

A popular choice among the Indian students is MDIS and other universities as they generally have a tuition fee of Rs. 15 lakhs per year. The students have an option to take up the entire amount for payment of fees or subsidize the fees by agreeing to work for the Singapore Government for three years on completion of the degree. This comes under the ‘Service Obligation’ agreement. The tuition fee gets reduced by nearly half the amount, thereby making it an affordable option . Due to reasons like this, the fee structure sees a lot of variance.

The educational cost for postgraduate students comes to around 12-18 lakh per year. Postgraduate students can also have their fees subsidized if they sign up for the bond to serve the Singapore Government for three years.
